The High Technology Incubator in Bioeconomy and Circular Economy (IAT) specialises in business projects aimed at generating new products or processes with high added value,

• derived from the region’s natural resources, as well as waste, by-products and co-products of the agri-food industry;
• using chemical and biotechnological techniques for the extraction, purification, bioactivation and synthesis of biocompounds;
• with high market potential and application in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and chemical industries, as well as new emerging industries.

• Main building of 512.5m2, equipped with 6 laboratories for incubation processes (34m2 each), 2 shared laboratories, meeting room and central offices.
• Pre-industrial pilot plant of 544m2, designed to test biotechnological processes or initial transformations related to the bio-economy or circular economy.

Developed through an agreement between CICYTEX and FUNDECYT-PCTEX.
